The 2013 Paddle Imua SUP Race went down on Maui Saturday, May 4th, with close to 100 Stand Up Paddlers hitting the world famous Maliko downwind course. The race was held to benefit Camp Imua, a local charity on Maui, and for many paddlers was also a warm-up for next week’s big Olukai race.
In the end it was Naish’s Aussie Ironwoman Queen, Karla Gilbert who took out the Women’s 14′ Class and grabbed 1st place with a time of 1:30:44. Ridge Lenny also dominated the 12’6” Class and paddled his way to 2nd with a time of 1:36:46.
Congratulations to both Naish riders! An outstanding job for a wonderful cause!
