The Naish Battle of the Fastest SUP Race, organized by Naish Holland, was held the weekend of September 1 and 2, 2012. This year’s event was held at the Bosbaan in Amsterdam, which is one of the largest rowing courses in Holland. The Bosbaan is a 2 km rowing course that is often used for world paddling championships and also as an Olympic training facility.
It was a great event and a fantastic opportunity to launch SUP into this side of the sport scene. Clinics as well as a 9 km SUP race were held with participants from the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Hawaii.
