Naish rider Luiz Guida, otherwise known as “Animal”, overcomes adversities and wins the first Brazilian leg of 2013 at the Aloha Spirit Festival in Ilhabela, Brazil.
Guida showed once again that there is no doubt left that he is the best SUP paddler in the country nowadays. He showed strength and focus on a very difficult course in Ilhabela on this first leg. He made history by winning the event with time to spare on his NAISH Javelin 12’6 LE!
He completed the 12km course on 1hr 22min 56sec against the second placer with 1hr 23min 16sec.
