How did you get into SUP and Windsurfing?
I started to SUP cause I worked on a project with Eddy Vedder and Laird Hamilton and I fell in love with the sport about ten years ago and started to SUP. Bought a board from Laird. Won a race about 7 years ago.. never looked back. I started windsurfing when I was a kid, I taught sailing lessons and was a Laser National Sailing Champion and captain on the sailing team in college.

What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
Paddling almost every day and my rescued dogs. My one was so badly abused, he paddles with me… he goes everywhere with me. So combining both is the thing!

What’s in your backpack when traveling?
A bikini, sunblock a towel and flipflops

Stephanie Shiedler, my favorite paddling friend and we are going to South America.

Favorite thing to do when not you’re not kiting, SUPing or windsurfing?
Walk my dogs in the woods or take them swimming.

What, in your opinion, has been your greatest accomplishment?
Winning the Devils’ island challenge in 2016 and being the first woman to circumnavigate Bermuda on a SUP and coming in 2
nd overall; 42 miles of the unknown. The south side of the island was like paddling in a washing machine.

What’s your favorite quote or saying?
“If you are going to pat yourself on the back, make sure someone is clapping.”

If you had a superpower, what would it be?
I would like to be able to fly—like with my arms..
