How did you get into SUP?
I’d been surfing since I was twelve. Then when I was about fourteen my mother bought a SUP online because she really wanted to try it. It was an old ex-hire. Amundson for a few hundred dollars. Dad and I drove down to the Sunshine Coast to collect it and spent the afternoon being munched in a shore break but having a huge amount of fun at Mooloolaba beach. From that point on I loved SUPing just as much as surfing and it soon became my favorite thing to do.
What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
The Ocean and being able to swim or surf in it every day.
What’s in your backpack when traveling?
A multitude of Bikinis, Wetsuits, my favorite black hat, a book for when it’s too dark to surf and a camera.
At the moment I’m obsessed with ‘The Greatest Showman’, but any movie with a bit of comedy, and a hint of sci-fi is a good one. Cliché teenage movies are pretty good to.

You’re planning your dream trip, where are you going and who’s coming with?
My absolute dream is to travel the world and surf all the greatest surf spots. I’d probably take friends, who also surf, or my family with me. During my trek around the world I’d want to back pack Europe – In Europe I’d have to go to France, England, Germany Italy, Greece and Spain. In the America part of my treck, I want to visit New York and stand in Times Square. I want to surf Hawaii because it looks so beautiful and see the snow in Canada. I’d want to tour South America – Mexico and Brazil. I also really want to go to Japan. To finish my around the world trek I want to visit all the islands, like Samoa and Vanuatu. This would be my dream trip.

Going for a swim or a surf, traveling/ exploring, mucking around with a guitar, hanging out with my brother, sister and friends, reading a book or binge-watching Netflix.
