It was down to the wire today as Naish’s Kai Lenny stepped up the competition, winning the Huntington Beach Pro Surf competition with non-stop, flawless action!
Wowing the judges with endless aerials and explosive surfing, Kai posted high scores in his various heats throughout the competition from the start, making it known that he’s all business. Posting some of the highest scores in his opening heats (including scoring the highest heat total of the contest in Round 4 with a 18.6 out of 20), Kai’s explosive style was a perfect match for the continuously changing peaks at the pier, where he put on a great show during the finals with his Naish teammates cheering on.
Other standouts include Naish’s Kody Kerbox, Poenaiki Raioha, Beau Nixon, Noa Ginella, Riggs Napoleon and Chuck Patterson, who all hustled their way through the heats with great attitudes and amazing sportsmanship. Great job everyone!
Up next on the Stand up World Tour: La Torche Pro Surf from October 26th to November 3rd in Brittney France.
